last hours

No, I'm not dying. If you've read my previous posts, I'm pretty sure I've mentioned about my upcoming birthday and how excited I was. But that excitement turned out to be temporary. These past few days I've been dealing with so many disappointments. Right now, I should be spending my last hours being twenty years old on a ship heading home. But NO. I still have to wait for 16 hours and don't even bother on asking why.

Seriously, there's got to be a reason why there's a queue at every ticket office.  It's a line. Why in the world would you cut in a line? That's taboo! Okay, so maybe taboo is such a strong a word. But it is common courtesy to wait for your turn. And when you're going to break through a line, be sure to be polite and not just by simply pushing someone like you're walking through the jungle and parting hanging vines. Just because I'm too small for my age doesn't mean I'm not human.

One more thing, racial discrimination against my own race!? What on earth was that? Just because that dude has lighter skin he deserved to be treated kindly? (Oh no he DI'INT!) I firmly believe that everyone deserves to be treated well especially those people that's having a hard time. Just because some moron treated you bad does not mean you have to be bad as well. THAT, or you're just a selfish mustard.

If there's one thing I learned today before I turned 21, people would be weirded out if you cry alone in public.

And since my trip was cancelled, I was able to post on my blog.

Another year to live :) Thank God!
Good night.

Blogging from A-Z

Are you as excited as I am about the upcoming A-Z Challenge this coming  April 2013? It's my first time to join this event. But thinking about it makes me feel exhausted at the same time. I started making drafts and I'm still stuck with the letter Q. As for my theme, I decided to stick with my blog description.

writer's block

My friend, Yani, suggested that I should take a 30-Day Challenge and I think it's a pretty good idea since I'm still new to blogging and it seems like I'm already running out of ideas. But instead, I found this 2013 A to Z Challenge  and I'm really interested in joining. I was done signing up when I remembered that I must put the category next to my blog name. Damn me for being careless. Oh well... I better start making drafts.

a better me, no doubt.

For almost a year of blogging  I finally decided to change my layout. And my blog address too. :( Somebody told me that it was lengthy and I couldn't agree more. I'm really thankful for his honest opinion. I also find both the address and the layout extremely depressing... After the changes I've made, I noticed that the traffic feed history is gone! Man... There's really nothing I can do about it. So I just installed another one. Anyway, I certainly think this looks waaaaaaay livelier than before.

I had a good start this year and I'm very optimistic especially now that my birthday is just around the corner!!!Birthday dancer

So... yeah. I hope you like my new layout too!

P.S. Why can't I place spoiler tags? Well.. I tried different approaches but I'm not satisfied with each result. I can't seem to find a way to hide the above photo without using a spoiler button... I'd really appreciate it if someone will help me.

reconnecting. . .

Two posts in a row? Whoa, I'm on fire! *plays Girl On Fire by Alicia Keys* Regarding to my previous post about me just staying in my room well.. that wasn't entirely true. (so now AMALAYER?!! OMG Ate!!!) Kidding aside, I went home during the holidays to pay my parents a visit. It's nice to be back home- strolling down a familiar street with no traffic and less pollution. It's a small town so it's not impossible to see familiar faces. I've met my friends way back in high school, on my trip to the province and on my trip back to the city, after not being able to see them for a long time. (uhmm.. where is this post heading??) Okay let's cut to the chase.  What I'm trying to say is, aside from doing other stuff, I tried to reconnect with my friends. We had a very long conversation to make up for the lost times. It felt good talking with people whom I'm comfortable with...

There are things you can tell to your parents but not to your friends and there are things that you can tell to your friends but definitely not to your parents.

origami

This is my first post after a five-month hiatus and my first post for this year 2013!!! YAY, I'm back! So where the heck have I been? Nah. As usual I'm just a lazy ass so obviously, I spent those months here at my place but that didn't mean I really didn't do anything so that means... I'm not totally lazy. And I'm not totally an ass... Okay? (What's with these asses?) BUTT anyway... Fine...  *rolling eyes* Enough with these asses. So moving on, I finally learned how to make an origami lily! I know right?!? You're probably thinking, "Seriously?! For five straight months?! Wow, that's pretty slow... Get a life." Of course, that's not the only thing that's keeping me busy but for now let's talk about origami or the art of Japanese paper folding. You might think it's boring but for me, it's not. It helps me to relax, it helped me with my school projects and most important of all-it keeps my niece busy (in that way, she won't be messing with my stuff..teehee)

I've learned how to fold different stuffs thanks to this guy. And there are also a lot of websites that can help you create things that are useful!

And here are some of the things I made...

So if you're looking for some things to do this summer, this might help you.
