H is for...
Kids these days... If you can't find them watching tv, they're most likely surfing the internet (look who's talking). So I decided to teach my first cousins, once removed, a game called hopscotch. You do realize I have a hidden motive here. Well... It's because I can't use my laptop without getting interfered. I get excited whenever I'm done doing my chores and other important things and FINALLY I can sat down and start typing. But NO. Those little devils. They stare at you with those puppy eyes and with their cute little voices and speak words you don't even want to hea--- "Can I use your laptop? I want to watch Barbie... Pleeeease?" Who could resist such a thing? But it had to be done. So to make the story short, I found a chalk, drew a hopscotch grid and taught them to play. Everybody's happy! :) (especially me Bwahahaha) The End.
that is an ingenious idea!! Also you make them exercise you are such a caring cousin!
ReplyDeleteHaha, that was THE GAME back in the day. Miss that one.

I had to google hopscotch. So I learned a new word today too :). We played that a LOT when I was in school. One of the very few sweet memories of school. Probably the only one, but still sweet.
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant idea! I love hopscotch. Never played it much at school though...
ReplyDeleteAm going to try your codey hyperlinky thingumy. Fingers crossed and huge apologies if I arse it up! xx

What a coincidence! I was just thinking about hopscotch yesterday (or the other day, can't remember) while watching a special segment about how kids are spending all their time using devices, and it may be bad for their brains. I do think there are unintended consequences, and I always loved hopscotch. :)
