M...

M is for...

Love yourself. It's a trite expression. But we have to admit that sometimes we can't help but to wallow in self-pity especially in those times when we fail at something we've been working on like forever. A lot of people would say, You don't have to be pretty just be true to yourself. But coming from a person like me who's really darn insecure, I HAVE to be pretty all the time. Not for anyone, but for myself. It's not a crime to make yourself look beautiful. But I'm not talking about putting makeup on or wearing signature clothes. Each of us has our own definition of beautiful. And my own definition of beautiful is:

\ˈbyü-ti-fəl\ having qualities such as stress-free look, sunny disposition and confidence.

I don't get envious to those people who wear size D cups, who can fit to skinny jeans or those who have perfect set of eyebrows. What I want to be is someone who's always optimistic and sunny. And one of the things that can make you feel that way is to be pretty.

I love watching videos on Youtube and I came across this video channel wherein she teaches you some beauty tips and some other things too. http://www.youtube.com/user/bubzbeauty

I like the word "indolence". It makes my laziness seem classy. ~Bern Williams

The title of this post would've been "LAZINESS". I'm really too lazy to think of something to talk about right now. So I'll just post questions and perhaps you might wanna answer these if you're not feeling too lazy to type.

  1. What was the last movie you watched at the movie theater?
  2. What was the last song you listened to before you read this post?
  3. When was the last time you cried?
  4. Who was the last person you texted?
  5. Who was the last person you called?
  6. What was the last tv show you watched?
  7. Who was the last person you thought of?
  8. What was your last job?
  9. What was the last food you ate?
  10. What was the last blog you visited? Post the URL below.

K...

K is for...

"Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle."

First of all I'd like to say, I HATE OUR INTERNET CONNECTION SO MUCH THAT I HAVE TO TYPE IN CAPS LOCK AND WITH SO MANY EXCLAMATION POINTS TO EMPHASIZE RAGE!!!!!!!

Okay. I feel better now. Everyone's already doing their way to "L" but I'm still stuck on letter K for some reason (I think you already know what that reason is) So K is for KINDNESS. I'm talking about random acts of kindness. I just want to post this to remind everyone that it doesn't hurt to show a little kindness to everyone or to someone you don't know. No, I'm not saying that I'm a good person. Because we have to admit that WE, including myself, forget to be kind sometimes. And to think WE have problems when other people are struggling...

What simple act of kindness have you done to other people?

I want to end this post with this inspiring video, 2013 Kindness Challenge Winner - Hannah Brencher

J...

J is for...

This isn't about Jupiter's wife. This is the title of a movie I've recently watched. I know you're probably saying, "Duh.. That movie was like six years ago." Yes. Yes, it is. It's a story about a girl named Juno who got pregnant at the age of 16. If you've watched this movie then you already know the entire story but for those who haven't, then it's for you to find out. And I also want to add that most of the songs used in this movie was sang by a very talented Kimya Dawson and my personal favorite would be Reminders of Then. So why did I watch this movie just now? I'm guilty of having a huge crush on Michael Cera and THAT is something I'm really embarrassed of.

I only have a little time to spare since we have to go back to the hospital for my cousin's followup check up. So instead of the usual childish post, I'm going to share to you a photo I've taken yesterday outside the medical lab.

H...

H is for...

Kids these days... If you can't find them watching tv, they're most likely surfing the internet (look who's talking). So I decided to teach my first cousins, once removed, a game called hopscotch. You do realize I have a hidden motive here. Well... It's because I can't use my laptop without getting interfered. I get excited whenever I'm done doing my chores and other important things and FINALLY I can sat down and start typing. But NO. Those little devils. They stare at you with those puppy eyes and with their cute little voices and speak words you don't even want to hea--- "Can I use your laptop? I want to watch Barbie... Pleeeease?" Who could resist such a thing? But it had to be done. So to make the story short, I found a chalk, drew a hopscotch grid and taught them to play. Everybody's happy! :) (especially me Bwahahaha) The End.

G...

G is for...

"I'm not responsible enough to be responsible but responsible enough to take responsibility over my irresponsibleness."

MAKE ME. This is what I usually say to other people whenever they tell me to grow up. My parents are a bit confusing sometimes (maybe yours as well). I remember the time when I was in 3rd year high school, I asked them if I could attend a birthday party and then they did not allow me to go. The reason would be (insert air quote here)You're not old enough to go out at night (insert another air quote here). But then they let me go out to buy stuff. "We ran out of salt. Please go to the market and buy me a pack of salt. Hurry!". "But Mum it's already nightfall." (damn me for being lazy). "You're OLD enough. How come you're still afraid of the dark?"

See what I mean?

But when can we actually say that we've grown up? Is it the moment we stopped watching anime? The moment we stopped playing video games? The moment we stopped playing outside with the other kids on the neighborhood? The moment we stopped doodling? The moment we get married?

I don't exactly know where this post is heading. My brain is malfunctioning.

F...

F is for...

"Keeping in mind that it must be forgotten..."

There are things we try so hard to remember and there are things we desperately wanted to forget. There are also things we've done that we don't want others to remember and wished so many times that if only we weren't stup-- err brave enough to do it.

I am badly trying to forget someone (no, I don't owe him money (thank you for asking))<---A voice within a voice. Cool! It's like inception. Okay, so going back to the topic. It's a typical story: falling in love with my best friend and then college came along to separate the two of us and for some reason we're not in good terms anymore. Well... Obviously this isn't the whole story. Coz you know, I'm making myself look like the good gal here. He said it's my fault. Funny. Coz I'm trying so hard to remember what did I do wrong. I'm not saying that he's mistaken. Maybe it IS my fault. But I just honestly can't remember why. Yes, he's definitely included on my list that's causing me depression.

I don't really want to actually forget him. Is that even possible? Oh, right. Selective memory loss. I know some of you would gladly volunteer to hit me with a rock or a chair or perhaps a mouse since you're probably lazy enough to get something quite heavy. But please DON'T. Seriously. I just want to forget the feeling. And so far...  I don't know. We haven't seen each other for three years. Maybe it's a good thing. In that way, it's easier to forget.

How about you? Was it easy for you to forget and move on?

P.S.This post isn't about you Sarah Marshall.

Since this isn't actually helpful nor informative I just want to share an additional something that may or may not be useful to you. If you want to create a spoiler tag for your blog hop to minimize the space, learn it from HERE

E...

  E is for...

"What the hell starts with letter E?"---this is one of the many things that's bugging on my mind these past few days. After browsing for hours and hours on the internet waiting for an idea to hit me hard and knock me unconscious well... I got nothing and I've fallen asleep instead. Then I saw this cute slap bet commissioner button on buttonempire.com.au that costs $2.50. I think I deserve a discount here for site promotion. Kidding! (but not really.) But instead of pinning it on my bag and other stuff, I want to pin it on my blog instead. Yes, I'd like to make a blog button! Having this on my blog would be Legen...wait for it...dary! (Crap I'm being childish again).

I'm planning on learning how to make a blog button but the sad part is, this isn't part of our curriculum. Good thing I found this site http://www.girli chef.com/p/how-to-make-blog-buttonbadge.html that would probably be able to help me.

I hope this experiment will work. And to be honest, I like the idea of buttonempire about selling pin it buttons. If things work out, I might as well try selling blog buttons and become an entrepreneur!(that's double E! Booyah!) But nah... It's just a thought.

P.S. Sorry for another childish post. Writing sure is hard. (-_-) I really do appreciate your comments. And sorry for not being able to reply. It's not easy since we need to have time to make drafts, visit blogs and do other stuff like other normal people would do. I hope you're all doing great!

D...

D is for...

When it comes to daily routines the number one on your list is probably waking up early. Okay, so I was wrong in saying that biking and swimming are the only things I can't do. Heck! Waking up early is so friggin' hard. I can't even send myself into bed early. So before April ends, I'm not only going to commit myself into blogging everyday but also I want to establish healthy habits.

  1. Sleep early at the same time each night.
  2. Wake up as early as 5 in the morning.
  3. Exercise.
  4. Make a list of To-Do List from Sunday to Saturday.
  5. Drink plenty of water.
  6. Less coffee intake.
  7. Stop worrying.
  8. Prioritize.
  9. Read a little before going to bed.

So this is what I've come up with so far. And I wanna hear your thoughts. Maybe you have suggestions to make this list better. Perhaps you want to share your own list too. Or complain about how slow my blog loads. (Or is just because of slow internet connection? Please let me know if it's slow.)

C...

C is for...

I am definitely not good at handling money and this is something I should not write on my resume. I spend it when I have it and don't when I don't. So I have decided to save up money this summer. You're probably wondering why now. Me either. It's already summer vacation and my parents aren't going to give me an allowance. Where will I get the money in order to save up? Well... they would probably still send me an allowance since I'm far from home but it would just be something to get me through the summer.

I made it through C! Whew.

I better look for summer job openings and I might as well cut my expenses. Do you have any tips on how to save money?

B...

B is for...

If there are two things I can't do, that would be swimming and biking. Lately, I've been practicing on how to ride a bike and I'm proud to tell you that I'm making progress. Uh-huh. That's right. I'm bragging.

There are a lot of people like me, who doesn't know how to ride a bike. Why is that? Well as for me, the problem wasn't about keeping my balance. It's just that I was really afraid of falling and end up with scraped knees. But the moment I tried to pedal faster and as I stopped to look back on my progress, it gave me a sense of completion.

"Some things aren't as difficult as they seem. We just have to be brave enough and accept the fact that in some point in time, we'll get hurt-scrape our knees, knock our teeth out and get bruised-but at least we did not fail to try."

A...

A is for...

It's normal for a person to experience "awkward moments".  I,  myself, experience it almost everyday so... does this mean I'm a very, very, very normal person?

Lately, I have been thinking of making a list of some of those awkward moments. And this is what I've come up with:

THAT AWKWARD MOMENT WHEN...

...some stranger waves at you and you waved back only to find out that it was for the person behind you

...you grab your friend's shoulder but it turned out to be someone else's

...you talk so loud because you were wearing headphones and then you noticed that people are staring

...you're wearing the same clothes. YES. It's awkward.

...you're wearing your shirt on backwards

...you're wearing stilettos and it got stuck in the pavement while you're with a guy you just met

...you were waving to a friend with a big smile on your face and then a post hit you in the face

...you pull a door that says PUSH

Okay. So I don't have a long list. But to be honest, I'm just getting lazy. /xD

You might wanna share your own experiences. And maybe some of those you have experienced were like with this guy.
